-Introducing the Olympic lifts

-Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) and CWFHC Model

-Process of detection and correction of technical errors

-Understanding and communicating technical aspects to the athlete

-Case studies – the snatch and the clean & jerk

2 - Provide Support to Athletes in Training

-Teaching and learning strategies

-Application of the CWFHC LTAD – Transition Phase

-Ensure the practice environment is safe

-The training program

-Psychological preparation

3 - Support the Competitive Experience

-General recommendation concerning athletes nutrition

-Understanding the Olympic style competition

-Preparing for readiness in competition

-Coach makes effective interventions during and after the competition

-Preparing to host a competition

Part II – Friday, October 25, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Weightlifting Gym
